Our players, who are deprived of training sessions and Geneva's closed municipal libraries, have given us the opportunity to join forces around a beautiful social and environmental action.
In partnership with the Municipal Bibliothèque de la Cité, the staff and the players deliver the elderly confined to their homes twice a week.
A voluntary action launched last week, where our players were able to bring book orders to the readers registered at the Bibliothéque de la Cité by electric bicycle.
This action should take place until the end of December, with two deliveries per week, on Monday and Thursday mornings from 8am to 12pm.
Many thanks to Virginie Rouiller (Executive Assistant at the Bibliothèque de la Cité) and Fabrice Gaudet (Coach of the SRC's First Team and Women's Team) who initiated this wonderful initiative, which has been covered by numerous media:
- The Grenat were present on the French-speaking Swiss radio in the morning on RTS: LISTEN TO THE REPORT HERE.
- RTS report, which was able to follow Jonathan Torossian (player of the Senior Team and Head of the Academy) and Fabrice Gaudet, during their first delivery last Monday:
