The presence of Servette Rugby Geneva at the Parc des Evaux and at the Vessy Sports Centre has been a great success among children, with 173 licence holders currently aged between 5 and 13. Historically, our Rugby School was founded in Les Avanchets (in collaboration with Avanchets Sport FC). Today, we are permanently based in Vernier.
The club is therefore still expanding today by opening a new Rugby School at the Parc du Wellingtonia in the Lignon district in order to pursue its development project which is particularly close to its heart: the training of young people and integration through sport.
Promoting and introducing children to rugby is a priority for our association, the aim being to establish a rugby culture throughout Geneva and to develop our young players through sports education.
We invite you to come and discover our new Rugby School from the age of 5! The opportunity to come and try rugby and to appreciate this sport where collective effort, friends, the freedom to carry and pass the ball are at the centre of an activity which often becomes a passion! In addition, every year, the town of Vernier offers you two family vouchers of 50 CHF per child to help finance a sporting or cultural activity. We are referenced to accept these vouchers which will enable you to pay a major part of the membership fee.
Opening of the rugby school on Wednesday 3 March at Chemin du Wellingtonia in Vernier (bus stop: Vernier, Grand Champ).
Don't hesitate to come and try rugby for free on several training sessions!
Training sessions : Wednesdays from 2pm to 3.30pm and Thursdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
