Focus on two apprenticeship and civic service trainees at Servette Rugby Club.
Alexandra Correia, 18 years old, started playing rugby in 2015, in the early days of the club with the U14 team. The young apprentice then joined the Geneva Switzers Women's Team three seasons ago. Alexandra joined Servette Rugby as a trainee a year ago, and since August as an apprentice, CFC Commercial employee, administrative service, in order to support Nelly Chenaux (General Secretary of the club) in particular on administrative matters concerning the Rugby School. A fast-paced schedule, as Alexandra has to juggle between classes (at the Aimée-Stitelmann School of Business and General Culture in Plan-les-Ouates) and her role as apprentice within the club.
Keegan Chenaux, also 18, joined Servette Rugby on 1st November thanks to the civic service offered by the FFR, under the supervision of the Saint-Julien-en-Genevois rugby club. The young rugby player was present at Servette Rugby's very first training session in 2014... Today he is a licensed player with our neighbours RC Genève Plan les Ouates and works on various missions in Greater Geneva through the partnership between Servette Rugby and Rugby Club St Julien. Keegan takes part in various actions, ranging from school interventions for the Rugby School, to initiations for the female public, as well as organizing projects for the Grenat Pact and actions favoring volunteers.
The club wishes to accompany these young waiters in their professional integration and provide them with a rich experience for their future life.
Keegan co-hosted with Fabrice Gaudet, a live Facebook for the promotion of women's rugby.
